After a much too long hiatus the Big Sky Democrats are beginning to stir. Check back soon for upcoming events and forums that will feature the well known BSD vibe. The BSD were formed to create a forum for young, professional Democrats to meet other progressive young Democrats. A myriad of issues that young people care deeply about are being debated on a state and national front. From health insurance, affordable housing, quality employment, access to public lands for recreation and hunting to foreign policy young Democrats in Montana have interests and voices that may not be heard county committee meetings and dinners. Young Montanans were instrumental in getting Jon Tester elected in 2006. An arm of the party that appeals to the interests of young Democrats in Montana can be successful in shaping party policy and making this big tent party a little bigger.
