Repubs still brainwashing, recruiting egg-throwers.

We knew this would happen, but it's nice to see them put it in writing and all.

The Montana GOP e-brief, the go-to newsletter for a good laugh, is not only convincing their unblinking hoard that "the last debate was hijacked by ill-mannered liberal supporters" who "heckled every time Senator Burns spoke, trying to drown out his opportunity to speak to the voters of Montana", but they are herding their sheep in the direction of Butte-Silver Bow for the upcoming Debate on Saturday.

The Rs are telling their people to get there "no later than 5:00 p.m."

You know what that means, right?  Ok, then.  See you at 4:15.

Calling All Republicans!

Saturday, September 23rd is the most important date of this campaign season so far; and if we are going to win this election, we need your help on this day.  Please consider devoting a few hours in a way that will make more of a difference than you may know.

Absentee Ballots:  Montanans can begin voting on September 23rd, when the absentee ballots they have requested begin arriving in the mail.  We need to reach every Montana voter who receives an absentee ballot, and we are organizing phone banks to call each of them and urge them to vote for Conrad Burns, Denny Rehberg, and all our local candidates.  You can volunteer to participate in phone banking (either at one of our office locations or from your home) by clicking here.  Just fill out the form and we will contact you with instructions.

Butte Debate:  Conrad and Jon Tester will square off in Butte for their third debate at 6:00 pm on Saturday, September 23rd at the Mother Lode Theatre in Butte .  We need you to show up to listen to Conrad and support him.

As you probably know, the last debate was hijacked by ill-mannered liberal supporters who imported over 200 of their radical friends from Missoula . They heckled every time Senator Burns spoke, trying to drown out his opportunity to speak to the voters of Montana , insulting him and the electoral process.  The Democrats are planning the same treatment for Conrad this time in Butte , and the only way to prevent it is to bring Republicans from all over the region to support our Senator.

Please come to the debate, and come early.  The Democrats will try to pack the house again, so Conrad’s supporters will need to show up no later than 5:00 pm to get a seat.  This election will be decided by people who show up, and Conrad needs you to show up.

Organize a Group:  If you are part of the FOCB County Committee or the GOP Central Committee, please organize a group effort.  Try to bring some volunteers to the office and do a phone bank for absentee ballots.  If you are within 100 miles of Butte , please organize a caravan of supporters to get to Butte an hour before the debate.  If you are over 100 miles away, then organize a debate party at your headquarters and keep the volunteers busy while they listen to the debate broadcast on the radio or on the Internet. 

We know the Democrats are out working hard, so the success or failure of this day and the entire election is in our hands
