Give to the New Era Campaign

As we move toward the November election, the Big Sky Dems have launched a “New Era” campaign focused on recruiting and supporting young candidates for the Montana Legislature.

This first-of-its kind initiative is focused on three major components: 1) grassroots organizing, 2) communications, and 3) fundraising. We need your help with number 3 right away.

Please contribute today to our New Era Campaign by clicking here. Don’t want to give online? Send a check to Big Sky Democrats. Box 1161. Billings. 59103. Your contribution will help the Big Sky Democrats turn a new day in Montana into a new era in Montana.

BSDs blew the doors off

Here’s a BIG thank you to everyone who helped make the BSD Late Night party on Saturday night a smashing success.

Thanks to Miller’s Crossing, which bulged at the seams as good Democrats – both young and young at heart – rallied around the mutual cause of electing Democrats to the Montana legislature.

The event, designed to raise money for the MDLCC and BSDs, was underwritten by several generous sponsors, and was made a success by several volunteers.

A big thanks to Gov. Brian Schweitzer for stopping by to rally the masses.

Most importantly, we want to thank the George Groesbeck Jr. Band for burning it down and making people boogie up a storm on the dance floor.

Happy Holidays!

From all of us at Big Sky Democrats, happy holidays to you and yours. Here's to Democratic victories in 2006!

It wudn’t us

A Republican Party e-mail Monday tried to associate the Big Sky Democrats with "> negative campaign tactics taking place in the mayoral race in Billings.

In response to that e-mail (the GOP e-brief titled “Tussing and Co. go negative” on November 7, 2005), we state clearly and unequivocally that the Big Sky Democrats had no part in those tactics. We flatly dispute the claims made by the Montana Republican Party and we resent that they were made.
